Aus to stop international students from bringing partners, children

Australia is planning to bar international students from bringing their partners and children while studying as part of a wider migration overhaul. The government aims to cut net overseas migration to 225,000 annually by 2028, from around 300,000 currently. The government is looking to reduce the number of temporary visa holders and ensure migrants leave when their visas expire.
