Australia won their T20 World Cup 2026 opener against Ireland by 67 runs at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Wednesday. Australia posted 182-6 in their 20 overs with Marcus Stoinis scoring 45(29). In reply, Ireland were dismissed for 115, with Nathan Ellis and Adam Zampa claiming four wickets each.
