Australia and EU sign trade deal, to remove over 99% tariffs

Australia and the European Union signed a trade deal on Tuesday after almost a decade, removing over 99% tariffs for almost all goods. The deal would further reduce tariffs to zero on products like wine, nuts, chocolate, dairy and Australian critical minerals. Nearly 75% of EVs from the European Union will be exempted from ​the luxury car ⁠tax in Australia.
