Australia equal England’s record for fastest 100-plus chase in T20 World Cups

Australia defeated Oman by nine wickets in their final group match of the T20 World Cup 2026, chasing down Oman’s 104-run target in 9.4 overs. In the process, Australia equalled England’s record for the fastest chase of a 100-plus target in the Men’s T20 World Cups. Australia captain Mitchell Marsh played an unbeaten knock of 64 runs off 33 balls.
