Australia lose home Test to Asian team other than India for 1st time in 31 years

Australia suffered a nine-wicket loss to Bangladesh in the first Test in Darwin on Sunday, losing a home Test to an Asian team other than India for the first time since 1995. It was also Australia’s first defeat to Bangladesh on home soil across formats. Notably, India have defeated Australia in seven Tests at home since 1995.
