Australia reports 1 death, 12 infected with Legionnaires' disease
A person has died and 12 others have been infected in a Legionnaires' disease outbreak in central Sydney in Australia, NSW Health said. According to the US CDC, the disease is caused by Legionella bacteria, spreading via contaminated water mist. Symptoms include fever, cough, and breathlessness. Over 165 cooling towers have been inspected.
