Australia has resumed the adoption of children from India after reportedly 8 years, the Women and Child Development (WCD) Ministry said. Australia had suspended the adoptions over reports of trafficking of children. Australia's Assistant Minister for Children and Families David Gillespie said India had "improved its processes" to comply with the Hague Convention on Adoption.
