Australia will sign a deal this week to sell uranium to India for peaceful power generation, PM Tony Abbott said Wednesday. However, the uranium exports to Russia has been halted. Work on the nuclear cooperation deal, which will be signed during Abbott’s India visit, has been underway since Australia lifted the long-standing ban on selling uranium to India in 2012.
