Australian state to allow people to add emoji to licence plates

A firm in Australia's Queensland state has announced that from March, drivers can add smiling, winking, laughing out loud, heart-eyed and sunglasses emoji to their vehicles' licence plates. The state's largest automotive organisation welcomed the digital addition. "People support their favourite team or town with a symbol on the number plate and using an emoji is no different," it added.
