Austria to ease COVID-19-related restrictions from next week
Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer on Saturday eased COVID-19 curbs across the country. As per the new rules, shops and restaurants will remain open until midnight from February 5. The number of participants will be increased to 50 from 25. Nehammer added that unvaccinated people can visit non-essential shops from February 12. Meanwhile, Austria reported nearly 35,000 new cases on Saturday.
