Auto sales up 2% in Nov as GST cuts, rural demand rise

India's auto retail market grew 2% in November, driven by strong demand for passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, three-wheelers and tractors, FADA reported. GST rate cuts, festive offers and rising rural demand boosted showroom footfalls. Passenger vehicles jumped 20%, while tractors surged 57%. With a strong rabi season and upcoming model launches, the sector is expected to maintain momentum.
