Avast's new CEO waives annual salary and bonus indefinitely

Cybersecurity company Avast on Tuesday said its new CEO Ondrej Vlcek will indefinitely waive his annual salary and bonus. Vlcek slashed his overall annual pay to $1 and said he would donate his board director's fee of $100,000 (nearly ₹70 lakh) a year to charity. He will continue to receive annual equity grants under the company's long-term incentive plan.
