'Avatar' beats 'Avengers: Endgame' to become highest-grossing film

'Avatar' has beat 'Avengers: Endgame' to reclaim the title of the highest-grossing film of all time after 'Avatar' returned to movie theatres in China and grossed $3.5 million. According to Variety, the worldwide collection of 'Avatar' now stands at $2.802 billion against Avenger: Endgame's $2.797 billion. In 2019, 'Avengers: Endgame' had overtaken 'Avatar' as the highest-grossing film.
