Average price of new Tokyo apartment passes ₹6.1 cr for first time

The average price of newly-built apartment units in Tokyo has passed the ₹6.1 crore (¥100 million) mark for the first time. The average price, ₹8.7 crore (¥143.6 million), has more than doubled from what was seen in April last year, the Real Estate Economic Institute said. It is also the highest now since the survey began in 1973.
