Average salary hike in India to dip to 9% in 2024: Deloitte

The average salary increment in India is expected to be 9% in 2024 compared with 9.2% in 2023, as per the 'Deloitte India Talent Outlook 2024' report. "One in every three organisations is planning to give double-digit increments in 2024," the report stated. The percentage of employees expected to be promoted decreased to 11.5% in 2024 from 12.3% in 2023.
