Aviation Ministry proposes to bring jet fuel under GST amid rising oil prices

Aviation Ministry has proposed to the Finance Ministry to bring aviation turbine fuel (ATF) under GST framework amid rise in global crude oil prices. High state-level taxes on ATF significantly increase operating costs for airlines, officials noted.
