Avoid making statements to please BJP: Congress to Tharoor after his remark on Rahul's event

AICC general secretary KC Venugopal took a dig at Congress' Shashi Tharoor after the latter said Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ programme hadn't resonated with young people as strongly as CJP protests. "Even if Congress members don't always strictly abide by party frameworks or discipline, we must be careful to avoid making statements that merely appease the BJP,” Venugopal said.
