Actress Sonali Bendre, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2018, recently revealed her conscious choice to avoid dark and heavy roles. She said, "I really wanted to play hopeful and lighter roles...I'd been through a really dark period." She added, "I was coming out of it and didn't want to do work that would trigger me and make me spiral."
