Awareness needed, not force: Mandaviya on Population Control Bill

Rejecting the need of population control bill in India, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that government had successfully used awareness and health campaigns to reduce population growth rather than using "force". The bill which was bought by BJP MP Rakesh Sinha in July 2019 was withdrawn by him on Friday. The Bill sought to enforce a two-child rule in India.
