Axis Bank may be highest bidder for Citi's India retail business: Reports

Axis Bank may be the highest bidder for Citibank's India retail business, CNBC TV 18 reported on Monday citing sources. Axis Bank is also reportedly likely to strike an all-cash deal with Citibank, which could be worth $1.5 billion, the news channel said. Reportedly, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Induslnd Bank are also in the race to buy Citibank's assets.
