Axis Bank set to charge higher for cash withdrawals from May 1

Axis Bank has said that it will increase its cash withdrawal charges from ATMs beyond the free limit from next month. The bank also increased the minimum balance requirements for various types of savings accounts. The private lender is also set to charge higher for sending SMS alerts. Promotional SMS and OTP alerts are excluded, the bank added.
