Ayush Mhatre becomes 1st player to be retired out in IPL 2026

CSK batter Ayush Mhatre has become the first cricketer to be retired out in IPL 2026. Mhatre left the field after the third ball of 18th over of CSK's innings against DC after scoring 59(36). CSK, who were 175/2 after 17.3 overs, posted a total of 212/2. Overall, Mhatre is the sixth cricketer to be retired out in IPL.
