The government reported that over 1.20 crore senior citizens have enrolled under the Ayushman Bharat Vaya Vandana Yojana, with more than 13.84 lakh treatments provided at a cost of around ₹3,000 crore. The scheme aims to strengthen healthcare access for elderly citizens, alongside broader initiatives such as immunisation, telemedicine, and expanded health infrastructure across India.
