B'desh opens dairy, beef & poultry to US exporters with trade deal

US and Bangladesh announced an agreement on reciprocal trade that reduced the tariff rate on the latter to 19%. In return, Dhaka will provide significant preferential market access for US industrial and agricultural goods. These goods include energy products, soy products, dairy products, beef, poultry and fruit. Chemicals, medical devices, machinery and motor vehicles have also been included.
