B'luru Blue Line full operations expected to begin from March'28

Bengaluru's 58-km Namma Metro Blue Line, connecting Central Silk Board to Kempegowda International Airport, is now expected to become fully operational by March 2028. The corridor will open in phases, with the Hebbal-airport stretch targeted for September 2027. The line is expected to offer commuters a cheaper alternative to airport cabs costing around ₹1,500 and introduce driverless services.
