B'luru court orders registering FIR against Sitharaman over 'extortion' through poll bonds

A Bengaluru court ordered the registration of an FIR against Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, several reports said. The order was passed based on the complaint by one Adarsh Iyer from the Janadhikar Sangharsa Parishad, alleging that she extorted money for the BJP through electoral bonds using the Enforcement Directorate. The petition also names ED and BJP chief JP Nadda.
