The premium tatkal ticket for Bengaluru to Kolkata on SMVB Howrah Express for August 9 was priced at ₹10,100 per person, according to a Reddit user. The fare was for AC-2 tier, which normally costs ₹2,910 on the same train. A screenshot of a fare break-up shared by another user showed that premium tatkal price included dynamic charges of ₹6,848.
