B'luru Police detains people protesting against CEC Gyanesh in Congress-ruled K'taka

The Bengaluru Police on Monday detained several people who were protesting against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in Congress-ruled Karnataka. They were detained before they could begin a march to the Chief Electoral Officer’s (CEO) office. Protesters alleged that police personnel pushed and dragged protesters into buses, beat young people and pulled at the clothes of women protesters.
