B'luru police personnel go to Jaipur to make arrest, caught taking ₹40,000 bribe

A group of three Bengaluru police personnel who had gone to Jaipur to arrest an accused in a dowry harassment case were caught taking a ₹40,000 bribe from the accused. They had demanded ₹2 lakh from the accused in exchange for favourable treatment in the case. The Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) detained the police personnel after the accused alerted them.
