B'luru's Kempegowda becomes 1st Indian airport to conduct trials of fully contactless int'l travel
Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport has become India's first airport to conduct trials of a fully contactless travel process for international passengers. Passengers used biometric verification and app-to-app data sharing at all airport checkpoints, eliminating the need for repeated checks of physical documents. The trials were conducted in partnership with IndiGo and Digi Yatra.
