Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda has directed officials to complete pending LED streetlight installations and replacements by October 31. Warning contractors of strict penalties for poor maintenance, the government said contractors have already been fined ₹93.67 lakh for past failures. Officials were instructed to conduct ground-level inspections.
