B'wood filmmakers today are plagiarists, not thinkers: Shekhar

Shekhar Suman opined that Bollywood filmmakers today are "plagiarists dependent on formula" and not original thinkers. Citing K Asif, Bimal Roy, Guru Dutt, or Raj Kapoor's examples, he said their films stayed for about 60-70 years. "Today, what has changed is that there's too much emphasis on making it successful, rather than on making it more creatively beautiful," Suman said.
