A baby born with thick skin due to a genetic condition called harlequin ichthyosis in 2020 in Slovakia has lost her eyelids, two fingers and four of her toes. "She came to this world in a thick and hard crust, like a turtle," her mother said. Her parents added that she will require plastic surgery in future.
