Badesetti declared 1st Naxal-free village in Chhattisgarh's Sukma

Badesetti village in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district has been declared state’s first Naxal-free village under government’s Ilwad Panchayat initiative. Under the scheme, government announced special development package of ₹1 crore for each Naxal-free village to build facilities like electricity, ration shops, schools. “Badesetti will inspire other villages,” Bastar Inspector General of Police said.
