Badlapur encounter good news, Oppn shouldn't shed tears: Nirupam

Reacting to the Badlapur sexual assault accused getting killed in police encounter, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam said that the encounter is "good news". "I would appeal to all the opposition leaders to stand with the Maharashtra Police instead of shedding tears for the accused," he added. The 23-year-old accused Akshay Shinde was killed in retaliatory firing on Monday.
