Badrinath Temple's former officer arrested in donation theft case

Former Badrinath Temple officer Rajendra Chauhan was arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the alleged donation thefts after he was questioned for nearly four hours. CCTV footage reportedly showed Chauhan putting bundles of cash in his pocket on June 22, June 25 and June 29. Uttarakhand Police said more suspects seen in the CCTV footage will be questioned.
