Baghel inaugurates 'Chhattisgarhiya Olympics' to boost traditional sports

Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday inaugurated 'Chhattisgarhiya Olympics', which will have 14 types of traditional sports and will continue till January 6, an official said. The event is being held at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur. "The CM...tried his hand at a few traditional games...like 'langdi', 'bhaura', 'bati' and 'pitthul' to motivate participants," the official said.
