Bahrain bans travel to Iran & Iraq as security tensions escalate

Bahrain banned its citizens from travelling to Iran and Iraq, the Interior Ministry said in an official statement on Tuesday. Citing a "continued tense security situation", the ministry imposed the ban to "safeguard national security and the safety of all citizens". Notably, tensions in Middle East have escalated ever since US and Israel launched strikes on Iran on February 28.
