Bahrain cancels citizenship of 69 people over 'support for Iranian attacks'

Bahrain revoked the citizenship of 69 people and their families for allegedly supporting Iranian attacks, the interior ministry said on Monday. It said those targeted had expressed sympathy and praise for Iran's actions. The move comes as Bahrain and other regional countries faced attacks by Iran in retaliation for US-Israeli strikes on Iran that ​began on ​February ⁠28.
