Bajaj Finance overtakes SBI in market value at ₹2.32 lakh crore

Non-banking finance firm Bajaj Finance overtook India's biggest lender by assets, State Bank of India, in terms of market value for the first time on Tuesday. Bajaj Finance's market cap stood at ₹2.32 lakh crore compared to SBI's ₹2.28 lakh crore. Bajaj Finance has a loan book of ₹1.25 lakh crore, whereas SBI's loan book stood at ₹22.40 lakh crore.
