Bajaj Finserv to apply for reinsurance licence within 2 months

Bajaj Finserv plans to enter the reinsurance business and will file for an IRDAI licence within two months, sources told CNBC-TV18. The company aims to launch by April 2027, aligned with domestic treaty renewals. Former GIC Re CMD N Ramaswamy is likely appointed to lead the new venture.
