Balaji Telefilms' shareholders have rejected proposals on salary to be paid to MD Shobha Kapoor and her daughter Ekta Kapoor, the company's Joint MD. The board had approved a basic salary of ₹2.40 crore along with perquisites for them for two years starting November 10, 2021. A very small percentage of shareholders participated in the voting and rejected the proposals.
