Bali's Mount Agung volcano erupts for first time in 54 years

Bali's Mount Agung volcano erupted on Tuesday for the first time in 54 years, forming an ash cloud 700 metres in the Indonesian sky. Over 1.4 lakh people fled their homes in recent months due to the volcano's heightened activity. Around 1,600 people were killed in lava, mudslides and gas clouds when the volcano last erupted in 1963.
