Balochistan declares Aug 11 as I-Day after breaking away from Pakistan

Weeks after declaring independence from Pakistan, the self-proclaimed Republic of Balochistan announced that August 11 would be observed as Balochistan's Independence Day. It called on the international community to recognise what it described as an independent and sovereign Balochistan. It said lasting peace cannot be achieved while Pakistan continues to exist in its present form.
