Bandra residents halt BMC's 'unnecessary' road digging

Bandra residents successfully resisted the BMC's plan to dig up a "well-maintained" street in Silver Clophill Lane. The civic body had planned to concretise the paver block road, but residents protested and contacted the ward office. The commissioner had earlier directed that no new roads should be excavated, and only ongoing works should be completed.
