Bangladesh Air Force signs Letter Of Intent with Italian firm

Bangladesh Air Force has signed a Letter of Intent with Italy’s Leonardo S.p.A to acquire Eurofighter Typhoon jets, marking a major push to modernise its combat fleet. The agreement, signed in Dhaka, signalled a shift toward next-generation airpower while parallel plans for China’s J-10 jets continue. With 212 aircraft and 44 fighters, Bangladesh seeks stronger operational readiness.
