Bangladesh Chief Justice Hassan to resign after protestors give him a deadline

Bangladesh Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan said he agreed to resign "in principle", AFP reported on Saturday. His decision came after hundreds of protesters including students gheraoed the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and gave him a 1 pm deadline to resign. "They are trying to use the Supreme Court...to declare the interim government illegal," a protestor told local media.
