Bangladesh deploys border guard at fuel depots to avoid hoarding

Bangladesh has deployed the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) at various fuel depots across the country amid attempts at unauthorised hoarding. Since Wednesday, the BGB has been deployed at 19 depots across 9 districts, including Dhaka, a statement said. Bangladesh has also established checkpoints and intensified land and river patrols to prevent fuel smuggling across the border.
