Bangladesh hikes fuel prices by up to 17.4% amid Middle East War

Amid the Middle East war, Bangladesh raised fuel prices by up to 17.4%. Diesel rose to 135 taka/litre (₹105.59) from 115 (₹89.95), petrol to 160 (₹125.15) from 140 (₹109.50) and kerosene to 155 (₹121.24) from 135 (₹105.59). Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation incurred 228.76 billion taka losses between March-August and hike could cut annual losses by 100 billion taka, reports said.
