Bangladesh officially boycotts T20 World Cup 2026 in India

Bangladesh have officially boycotted the T20 World Cup 2026 in India after ICC rejected their request to move their matches to Sri Lanka. Earlier, an ICC security assessment said there was no "specific threat" to Bangladesh in India. Bangladesh had asked ICC to shift their matches to Sri Lanka after KKR released Mustafizur Rahman after violence against minorities in Bangladesh.
